StudMarket

Terms of Service

Last updated September 9, 2026

By using StudMarket you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

1. Who can use StudMarket

You must be a currently enrolled university student and confirm a valid university email address before you can list, message, or make offers. One account per person. Don’t misrepresent which institution you attend.

2. Your account

You’re responsible for what happens under your account. Keep access to your email secure, and tell us if you think someone else can get into your account.

3. Listings and transactions

StudMarket connects buyers and sellers; it is not a party to any sale, trade, or gift. We don’t process payments, hold funds, ship items, or guarantee the condition, safety, or legality of anything listed. You may only list items you own and that are legal to sell. Prohibited: weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, prescription items, counterfeits, recalled goods, live animals, and anything your university bans.

4. Conduct

Be honest about what you’re listing and show up when you agree to a handoff. Harassment, threats, scams, spam, and impersonating another student are grounds for removal from the platform.

5. Safety

We encourage meeting in public, staffed campus locations. We don’t supervise handoffs and can’t guarantee anyone’s safety during one — use your judgment, bring a friend if you want, and report anything that felt wrong.

6. Suspension & removal

We may suspend or remove any account that breaks these terms, misrepresents student status, or puts other users at risk.

7. No warranty; limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, StudMarket is not liable for disputes between users, the outcome of any transaction, or items exchanged through the platform.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. We’ll update the date above; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
